Our first blog

We figured we should start a family blog to keep eveyone posted on how we are doing. It is a little easier than sending emails out with pictures. We can just post them here.

Well to start, things are going well here. We are getting ready for Andy's reinlistment next month, and trying to remind ourselves that we are in it for the long haul. Adrian of course doesn't understand right now, but he will soon enough. Andy is also teaching his last class, he will become the SLPO before Christmas. They are trying to help him make chief, and since he doesn't have the experience of LPO at sea this is the next best thing. We are very proud of his accomplishments.

Adrian just turned 1 on the 17th and is doing so well. He had his one year well baby appointment on Monday the 19th and is a big healthy boy. He weighs 25lb 1oz (75-90%) and is 30 1/2 inches long (90%.) He has been walking for about a month and a half, and has 12 teeth. The pediatrician is very pleased with how he is developing, the only concern is he is a little delayed in his speech. We are not too worried, since he is pretty advanced in everything else. He is such a great baby and we couldn't ask for anything better. He is getting his first haircut on Tuesday the 27th and I can't wait, he is starting to look like the shaggy dog. LOL!

I am trying to teach myself photography and hope to start my own business sometime in the near future. It has always been an interest of mine, and I am enjoying it immensely. Other than that I am a full-time mommy and a housewife. I enjoy being at home with Adrian and watching him grow. I couldn't be happier with my life.

We are planning to visit CT for Christmas, and are so excited. It was so fun to watch Adrian and Emery play together over Adrian's birthday weekend. So I can only imagine how fun Christmas will be.
