We are getting ready to head up to DC tomorrow for Amy & Charlie's wedding and we are so excited. Can't wait to see everyone, and get my Emery fix. lol. I can't wait to hear how school is going for her. Plus I am going to bribe her to let me take photos of her. Adrian isn't a willing party and doesn't quite understand bribes yet. ;)
Andy is doing well, he didn't make chief this year and now feels he will probably not make it until we are back on a boat. He was pretty disappointed, especially being the job he does now is a chief's billet. Oh well. Such is life in the navy. He seems to be doing a lot better now about it.
As for me... I am doing well. Andy bought me my birthday present early so that I would have it for this weekend. He bought me one of my dream lenses. It is pricey but oh so worth it. And, even though there are more lenses I want, the ones I have now will last me for a while without "needing" another one. He is so good to me and truly loves me I think. :) Here is a snapshot of Adrian in the backyard with my new lens. Now if I can only get him to look at me!

i hear you on the not looking at you business! seems like whenever i have a good shot of alice lined up she moves before i can depress the shutter! i'm glad to hear you're loving the lens!!
