Back from our trip...

We had a BLAST! But it went by WAY too fast. Adrian loved every minute he got to spend with his Bama, Papa, cousin Emmy and ALL his aunties. He loved the cat and dog at my parents and grabbed the very patient, yet retarded cat Daphne by the tail as she was trying desperately to get away from him and yelled "come on" all the way from the kitchen to the front door. Silly boy and poor cat!

He did really well on all of the flights, although we got really lucky and had flights that weren't full. He got a seat to himself on all 4 flights. Thank goodness. His talking has gotten so much better and while in CT he started putting phrases together. Pretty easy ones like "thank you Papa" and "love you Bama" but still. I am proud of him.

We got a sneak peek of the twinkies affectionately nicknamed "Thing 1" and "Thing 2" while we were there. A doctor my mom works with generously offered us a quick ultrasound so that my mom could see them "in person." They were both doing great and were both moving around. It was pretty cute. First thing Adrian said when the wand went down on my belly though was "uh oh." Guess he is starting to catch on. lol!

Our first appointment with our new doctors is going to be Nov. 3. It is going to be a REALLY long day though as our ultrasound is at 9 and will be about an hour long then a long break until 12:30 where we will meet the nurse and then we get to talk to the doctor at 1. I think there is also some genetic counseling in there at some point too, but no idea when. Should be fun! I am anxious to see the babies again in some detail though.

This week is going to be full of racing to get all my medical records faxed over there so that they will see me that day. Fun stuff!

While I am sad our trip is over, I am happy to be home. It is nice to be able to sleep in my own bed (and I know Lola is glad to have her bed and entire ROOM back too!) We miss our family and hope to see them again soon. Love you guys!

Oh and two very fun and exciting things happened while I was in CT. The first being Jillian's baby shower. What a fun time we had there. Everything was beautiful (no surprise there though. Auntie Steph you are AMAZING!) and lots of good food and great company. And we got to find out the gender of her little one. Can't wait to meet baby H! Miss you guys!

The second exciting thing was my sister Erin got to go to the temple for the first time. I got to be her escort and it was a beautiful time. Thanks Erin! So proud of you!

Ok my dinner is sitting in front of me now and I have written too much. So I will leave you with a picture of Adrian and his friend "money" (Elder Truman). We'll post again soon! Photobucket

Glad you had a good time in CT. Jealous. I'm sure your mom was thrilled to be able to see all the babies. Congrats! Thanks for the uplifting comments on my blog.
