So yesterday I was laying down while A was sleeping and all of a sudden I got a huge kick. So I watched my belly for a minute and saw a kick, so I put my hand there and felt it from the outside. It was amazing! With A it was a few weeks from now when I first felt him or saw him move because his placenta was on the outside and absorbed his movements. The boys are moving all the time now and it is so cute and weird. I still can't believe there are two babies in there, but when they start moving it is easier to believe. LOL!
We have an ultrasound tomorrow morning and another doctor's appointment, so we are hoping that everything is still looking great. We will most likely have another u/s right after the holidays to check the babies hearts, called a fetal echocardiogram. They do these at around 24 weeks so the babies hearts are a little bigger and easier to see. I can't believe we are going to be 20 weeks tomorrow. In a singleton pregnancy that is the halfway point. But for us we are about 2 weeks past halfway, YAY!
Adrian is doing so well. He is talking like you wouldn't believe and is telling us more consistently that he has gone to the bathroom. We are really going to buckle down and get him on the potty frequently and see if we can get one kid out of diapers before the next two come along. Adrian is identifying objects all over the place and he has an amazing memory too. He remembers this one intersection where we sat at a red light for about 5 minutes waiting for a train to go by. Every time we are there he says "choo choo Mommy" it is so cute. As I sit here typing this, he took the baby gate down and said, "I did it!" and walked into the kitchen. Smartie pants!
Other than that we are just enjoying the holiday season. Adrian loves to drive around and look at the lights and he says, "Wooooooooo" everytime he sees some. It is too cute. We hope you all are doing well! ♥ The Finns
