9 weeks and counting...

We are in our 29th week (which means I am 28w4d today) so only 9 1/2 weeks to go until the babies are here. WOW! Seems unreal to us that this pregnancy has gone by so fast. We are busy preparing for their arrival, and trying to spend as much time with Adrian as we can so that he feels included and special. Hopefully the arrival of the twins will be a smooth change for him.

Here is my 28w belly pic. Sorry about the fuzzy picture and the fact that it is completely different from the others. I took this one myself in the mirror this morning. I am feeling very stretched, but otherwise just very grateful we have made it this far without any major complications. Lots of cramping going on if I am on my feet too long so I am over cautious with this. I don't want to put myself into preterm labor, so I am resting a lot. I feel like a whale though.

We ordered crib mattresses today and started looking for Adrian's twin mattress too. I can't wait to get him into a real big boy bed. He has been doing so well staying in bed now. He is getting better and better with his speech and I have to be so careful about what I say, especially when I drive. lol! I tend to say things like "stupid idiot" and "moron" and he has picked up on it. It's actually pretty funny because his show ended the other day and he yelled "stupid idiot" at the TV. That's my boy!

We are really looking forward to my mom's visit when the babies come. Especially Adrian. He keeps bringing me the phone so he can call Bama and Papa. It is really cute. I can't wait for mom and Adrian to get some time together again. I am really looking forward to the whole family coming, but I know mom and Adrian will enjoy their special bonding time.
