So Andy and I have been thinking that with the twins coming we would need something a little bigger than the Explorer. Not to say that the carseats wouldn't have all fit, but do we really want a 2 year old sitting with newborns? Not really. lol.
So we had decided on a Honda Odyssey, that is what we knew we wanted. We looked at brand new and we looked at new used and the brand new was the better deal. So we drove off the lot with a 2009 Honda Odyssey EX-L. I haven't taken any pics yet, but it is the Bali Blue Pearl color and has a dark gray leather interior. It is so pretty. Adrian loves the "new car" and we have started to refer to it as "Rocket" from Little Einsteins. He really likes the window in the roof. lol!
Andy drove it for the first time yesterday and decided it was well worth the $$. He is constantly reminding me though that I will be running it into the ground. Hey I don't mind. I got what I wanted, and even in the right color. YAY!
So now we just have a few final things to buy before babies arrive. Crib mattresses and a pack n play. Not to mention some newborn clothes. Although, Andy did let me buy 2 sets of gowns (the little newborn gowns) last night at Kohls. I got a green set and a blue set. I can't wait to put our little guys in them.
Yesterday we said goodbye to the Fletchers. :( They are moving to CT and got on the road yesterday. So sad to see them go, but at least I know my family is there to help Jen out if needed. They will be closer to Erick's family too, so hopefully it will work out great for them. I hated saying goodbye though. We wish you guys the best of luck and hopefully in about 1 1/2 years we'll be up there with you. ((hugs)) Thanks for everything. We love you.
I guess that's about it for now. I have a growth scan Thursday to see how big the boys are, and I also have to do the 3 hour GTT since I failed the first test by 3 points. Grrrrr. Oh well... Hopefully we will pass with flying colors. If not though, I know the diabetic diet so it won't be that awful. Thanks for reading and we'll check back in soon. Much Love, The Finn Family

That is so cool that you call you car Rocket! I think that's awesome. Saying goodbye to friends is never easy. Hopefully you'll see them soon. Can't wait to find out how Thursday goes.
Glad to hear things are going well. You will have to post a picture of your new ride!
We love you too!!! I don't think that you will ever know how much you have helped us, both while we lived there and while we were getting ready to leave!! Praying that you'll move here for Andy's next sea duty!!
love always,
Jen
