A little peek at our trip home

So there are WAY too many photos for me to share all at once, but I have a few that I want to share. We had a great trip up north for the holidays, and saw almost everyone we wanted to see. On the way up we got stuck in the blizzard and ended up making a very good last minute decision to stop in Quantico, VA at the Marine base. While there we got stuck in the snow and like 20 people stopped to help push us out. I have a newfound respect for Marines, they are certainly helpful regardless of who you are.

The following day we finished our drive to New Jersey to see Andy's dad and stepmom. They took us to Mid Evil Times and it was a BLAST! Adrian loved every second of it and had a blast with his cousin Alex too. They both got swords and were "good knights." lol! The next morning we woke up and had breakfast and a Christmas morning with them and then we were off again. We stopped to see Andy's grandparents and then headed to CT.

Christmas morning was a blur at Bama and Papa's there were so many gifts, there was no room to sit anyone. lol! Emery, Adrian and the twins must have been VERY good this year because Santa was good to them. It was so fun to watch them get all excited and rip through the paper. The twins ate more of it than ripped through it but it was still fun to watch.

We got to visit Auntie Steph, Uncle JT, Jill, Jason, Rocco and Jack while we were there too. We missed Don and Xenia unfortunately, but we will catch them on the next trip for sure. We also got to visit with Jen, Erick and Lorelai and the Kaze's too. It was so fun to get to see them all again.

Adrian and Emmy were thick as thieves the entire time played so hard. I think Adrian is still recovering from all the energy he put out. lol! They got to play in the snow and build a snowman and snow camel that they got to ride on. Andy pulled them around the yard in the sled. Adrian loves the snow. They had snowball fights too.

It was really hard to leave, knowing that the next time we visit will be the last time for a long time. Not to mention both Emmy and Adrian cried hysterically and were making the hormonal pregnant lady cry with them. They didn't want to be separated. So sweet.

Ok well... here are the pictures. Like I said there are a TON so I will likely post a slideshow or something. Thanks for reading and hope you all had a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
