Splish Splash... the good and bad!

On Saturday, Shannon and I had plans to go out and shoot, scout out new photo locations and such. Well.... it rained! Go figure. So we thought it would be fun to have Adrian wear some rain boots and jump in puddles. He had a BLAST! We brought him right in and threw him in a warm bath though because it was FREEZING! So we took some tubby pictures too and he was a ham as usual. At least it got us through the disappointment of not being able to go out and shoot! :)





On to the bad...
This morning I woke up after Andy set off the alarm to the house. So I went in and used the potty and washed my hands, no big deal right?! That's what I thought until Andy came running upstairs and told me not to use the water. He tells me to come downstairs and look in the kitchen/dining room area, I do and there is a flood. Water is dripping out of the ceiling fan, everywhere. Of course he had taken a shower which accounted for most of the water, and didn't know it was leaking. We think it is a broken drain pipe, but we are no experts. Waiting on our insurance adjuster to come out and also the home warranty company to see what they can do. What a mess. Luckily though it didn't get to the computer and didn't ruin anything but the ceiling and a few cheerios left over from babies.

I am going to take pictures in a little while and will post them later. We have no idea how long or painful the fix is going to be, but we are worried about mold, this is the south afterall. Guess we'll update later. Hope you enjoy the pics, and thanks for reading!
