October and still in CT...

with no travel plans yet. *sigh* I had my overseas screening redo on Monday and got the all set to go, but the older 3 boys need theirs redone and are scheduled to do theirs on Friday. Hopefully then things will go very fast so we can get to Guam and get settled. Andy won't be there, but at least we will get into our house and start getting our home fixed up. I'll keep you posted. ;)

So... since I haven't blogged in forever, a bunch has happened. My bestie Shannon came to see us and we were so excited to have her here. Unfortunately the weather was pretty crummy the entire time she was here, but we did get to go on a hayride with her and show her a bit of Connecticut's beauty. It wasn't easy to say goodbye to her again, we miss her so much!!!

What else... a lot of the same stuff, but we did get to celebrate Mom's birthday last weekend. Erin and I took her to Groton Inn and Suites for an all you can eat prime rib dinner, we each had one plate and couldn't finish it. lol! Then the following night on her actual birthday we went to Olive Garden for dinner. We also surprised her at work with cake to share and balloons. :)

One of Lola's co-workers has the same birthday (and she rocks) so we stopped in there and brought her a brownie cheesecake and said Happy Birthday. So much fun!
