I have to get my week 1 photos ready for my 52 week photo project. I am so excited to do it. A lot of people are doing their projects of them and their kids, but since Andy is not home consistently, I will be posting pics of the boys and then if I can make it in some great. :) Hopefully tomorrow I can get the boys together for a shot or two... that is really an impossible task these days, Brennan is crawling, the twins are always going in opposite directions and Adrian just does his own thing. Maybe I can get Andy to help me if he gets home before the sun goes down. lol.
Things are going well I think, I am pretty anxious about getting the house all settled, it is a never-ending work in progress. I truly don't know if it will ever be the way I want it to be. Eventually I will be able to order the prints I want for my walls, and I will get the furniture stuff all figured out. :D

Today we made one of the biggest and toughest decisions of our lives. As most of you know, we bought a house in South Carolina in March 2007. The housing market quickly plummeted shortly after and we have not been able to sell our house. Today we told the bank to take the house and forclose. This was not an easy decision at all, and we hate that it came down to this but we have been paying on a home that has been empty since May, was on the market for 3-4 months with no showings at all and no interest at all. We chose not to rent because it wasn't worth it.
The sentimental part of me is just heartbroken that our first home, the home we brought the twins home to, and the home we hoped would be a good investment in our lives had become the bane of my existance, and would cause us to throw our credit down the crapper. But I am relieved on the other hand to have that money to pay down the credit card that we ran up trying to make ends meet. I just want to move on from this and learn from it.
I guess I just don't understand why in this crappy economy and crappy housing market they are still building houses left and right. I get that contractors need work too, but they could instead fix up homes that are already built and still make money. Nothing makes sense to me anymore when it comes to our society, and I find myself just confused at the choices that are being made on the behalf of the citizens of this country. There is no right answer... there is only a big mess that more and more people are finding themselves stuck in. So sad :(
