So the Navy promised us our furniture by September 19th and here it is the 20th and we still don't have a delivery date. sigh. I am writing this on our living room floor, while the boys watch Lion King on one of the laptops, Andy is in a camping chair sharing chips and dip with the Brenner. :) My sleeping-on-an-air-mattress days have long past I am finding. My body hurts. lol! I am getting old I guess. This is definitely better than the power outage after Irene though.
Our trip up here was pretty uneventful, the boys did great and the drive was easy and beautiful. We were so ready to be out of the car by the time we got here though. It's been an adventure keeping the boys occupied and out of trouble, but we are managing.
I love our new place, it is temporary, but it is perfect. We are literally right in the middle of everything. There is a Target, TJ Maxx, Kohls, Bed Bath and Beyond, JoAnns and Hobby Lobby less than a mile from me. Not to mention, Five Guys, Red Robin, Moe's, Friendly's and a whole plethora of little bistros and fast food joints. BJ's is a hop skip and a jump away too, and Andy found me a paint your own pottery place similar to Get Fired Up.
The boys and I went exploring today and we found the plant where Andy works, and tried to find Palmyra, but didn't quite make it. I am excited to get there again though. This weekend we plan on taking the boys apple picking and do some fun stuff.
Ok enough for now... I am off to edit pictures and stuff before my furniture gets here and I have less time. Muah!
