So baby boy #5 is double footling breech now which means both of his feet are on my cervix and his head is up under my ribs. It is uncomfortable to say the least, and we are doing everything we can to get him to turn again one last time.
I was offered an external version by my docs for tomorrow, but whether successful or not it would have been home and wait unless baby was in distress. Ummmm no thanks. With this kid's track record he would flip back before I left the hospital. lol. So we opted for a version on August 5 followed immediately by an induction to get him out or c-section if it is unsuccessful. Totally nervous about this because I know it is not comfortable and that there are some risks that go with it. But I can't throw in the towel yet.
Saw a new chiropractor yesterday for the Webster Technique and will see her again tomorrow and I'm hoping this encourages him to flip on his own. When Brennan flipped back head down I had no idea and I'm hoping this one surprises us too. I really need him to be head down... if we can avoid the version it will be straight on to induction and that would make me happy. Any prayers would be much appreciated. :)
The boys are getting excited to meet their new brother, though I think Brennan is having the most trouble with it. I figured of all of them he would since he has never been a big brother before. He has been sleeping with us and super clingy with me... it breaks my heart a little, but I hope it will all settle once baby boy #5 gets here.
Adrian is soooooo excited to meet his new brother. And Jamie and Steve are too. I'm anxious to have him here and have my body back. It will be nice to not have to inject myself anymore or check my sugars all the time. Not to mention being able to go all night without having to pee, or being able to get up out of bed without the screaming pain. lol!
It makes me a little sad that this is the last time, but I think we are both in a good place with it. We are ready to move on from this stage and start enjoying life with these little monsters to the fullest. :)
Ok enough rambling from me today... again thanks in advance for prayers and turn vibes for our little gymnast in the womb. :)
