Forgive me for not posting earlier. Things have been hectic around here. We thought we might be able to use our tax return for something fun, but unfortunately we just had to have a new roof put on our home. :( We are pretty frustrated since we have been in this house less than a year and already have had issues.
But at least it comes at a time of year that we can afford it, right?! So with that and Adrian being sick again, I have just been putting off writing. I have to bring Adrian for a hearing test because he keeps pulling at his ear but there is no infection that the ped can see. She thinks he has allergies and that is making his hearing muffled. Along with that, the hearing test will benefit us later on this month when we go for Adrian's 15 month appointment. We will most likely be starting some speech therapy with him since he is delayed with his speech.
He had a breakthrough last night and finally called me Momma. YAY! He said it twice and hasn't really said it again. Maybe it is because I made such a big deal out of it he is scared to do it again! LOL!
Today was a long day for us. It was our turn to go and help clean the church so we were out of the house by 7:30 this morning. Went to the church and cleaned until 10 then headed back home to get dressed for a baptism at 11 and then stayed at the church to attend President Hinkley's funeral service.
Adrian did really well considering. He is a good boy and I am very proud of him. So we are home now and I made the boys come outside with me so I could take some photos. It has been pretty cold and rainy lately, so I have had the itch to go outside and take pics. Winter is so dreary. I cannot wait to see some color again. The dead grass and empty trees are depressing. LOL!
Not too much else is going on... we are doing the best we can to keep our chins up. We miss everyone and hope you are all doing well! Much love, ♥The Finns
