Induction scheduled

Well we canceled the c-section that was previously scheduled for the 23rd and made it an induction instead. Since I am a VBAC (vaginal birth after Caesarean) there are limited options for inducing. We will either go with a low dose of Pitocin and rupturing my waters or just rupturing my waters to see if that will bring on the contractions.

I am already 3cm dilated, about 80% effaced and baby is very low. My body is ready, it just hasn't started the main event yet. Hoping this weekend we will meet our new little men. My mom is flying in tomorrow and she wants to see the enormous belly before they come. I bet that is what they are waiting for. lol!

I have been walking walking walking, but with my ankles and feet as swollen as they are I can't do as much as I want too. I was told by the docs to walk a little and then stop for a while and put my feet up. That is annoying. But it seems to be helping.

Ok just thought I would update. We will keep you posted and definitely put pics up as soon as we can.

Oh my gosh! You must be SO excited! You're almost there! I've delivered naturally and had a c-section as well, and healing after a natural birth was soooo much quicker and easier for me. I'll be thinking of you for the next few days and praying for a smooth delivery. I'm so excited for you!
