We made it! We got here at 7pm on Nov. 16 Guam time which is 4am EST. What a wild ride! The boys did fantastic though especially considering they didn't get to run around at all. They had our seats all the way at the back of the plane which was rough considering the flight attendants have two rows reserved back there for them to be able to rest in and we were right next to them. On top of that, loading the 4 boys, 3 car seats, 7 carry on bags and ourselves onto the plane was super exhausting for my dad and I. We thought originally that we had it made flying through Hawaii since it was the same plane that was going to fly to Guam. WRONG. Because it is classified as an international flight, they made us remove everything from the plane and then re board after they did a security sweep and clean up. I guess I am frustrated with it because they already made us go through security before we ever boarded any plane at all. But we survived and are very glad to be here. The time difference is taking it's toll on the boys, and I am trying to catch up on sleep as I didn't sleep for over 24 hours between when I got up in Charleston and arriving and settling in Guam. Andy is not here, so we are anxiously awaiting his arrival, and to keep us busy in the meantime, our household goods part I arrived yesterday morning. ;)
Here are some pics of gorgeous Guam... (click to make them bigger)
Also... I am un privatizing my blog so that it is easier for all our family to see. Enjoy!
