December 1

Well it is officially the beginning of the end of 2010, how did that happen?  We have so much to be thankful for this year, a beautiful new baby, a safe move across the world, and being together again.  Not to mention loving and supportive family and friends, and a home to keep us warm well cool here.

The boys I think are finally adjusted to the time difference (knocking on wood) and are doing ok with the transition away from my family.  They still call out for Bamma and Papa, but I think it is getting a little easier for all of us each day.

Andy is home now and we are all thrilled to be together as a family again.  The boys are so excited to have Daddy back around, and he is just as excited to be back with them.  The homecoming was exciting, and HOT! No seriously, I was sweating buckets, and that isn't what you want your husband to see when he sees you for the first time in like 6 months. lol!  But Andy was just happy to see us waiting there for him, which is what we all wanted.

While my Dad was here, Andy and I ventured out for Black Friday, and ended up buying some furniture instead of the things we set out to buy.  We bought a new sectional, dining room table and 6 chairs, deep freezer, a tempur-pedic Rhapsody for us, and bunk beds for the kids.  They get delivered on Friday, and I can't wait!  This loaner furniture is nice to have, but we are ready to have our own stuff.  Definitely beats sleeping on the floor, but still.

We have a playground right behind our house, and the boys have LOVED it.  We have been trying to take them up there once the sun starts to set so it isn't too hot.  Such a blast!  Here are some pictures...

Yes that is me looking like a cow. Eh!  But the boys have a blast.

Not too much else is going on... just getting settled here, and all that jazz.  We are trying to get Adrian into a program at the day care center here for a few hours a day M-F so that he will be able to adjust to school a little better.  He can't start Pre-K until next year because of his birthday, which stinks because he will be so much older than the other kids, but oh well.

Andy's boat is having a Christmas Party on Friday and we got a babysitter for the boys so we can go.  Must admit I am nervous about leaving the boys with a sitter that isn't family, but it has to be done sooner or later I guess. Adrian is excited. lol!

Ok I am being paged by 4 small boys... guess it's Mommy time. ;)
