Today we are 29 weeks!! Only about 10 weeks to go! We started insulin injections this morning for the GD (gestational diabetes) and so far I am feeling better than with the Glyburide. I was having headaches almost constantly and it was no fun. Hopefully we won't be getting those again. I'm doing 5 injections a day which I do myself, 2 before breakfast (one long acting insulin and one fast acting), 1 before lunch, 1 before dinner and 1 before bed. We are really praying this is the end of the blood sugar troubles... my body is not playing nice at all.
Because I am on insulin now, it is likely I will be induced at 39 weeks. I'm hoping he is fully baked and ready to come out before then so I don't have to do the induction route again but we'll see. In any case within 11 weeks we should have baby in arms!! And we do have a name, but we aren't sharing yet. ;)
