Potty Training Success part 1

The twins spent a week in CT with my family, they had an absolute BLAST and while they were there something clicked with the potty training with Stevie.  He was waking up dry and asking immediately to use the potty, and staying dry all day.  Mom bought them some big boy underwear and he wore those all day and kept them dry.  I put Stevie in a pull-up for the long drive home, but he stayed dry, using the bathrooms at rest stops with Andy and Adrian.  When we got home I put him back into big boy underwear and let him sleep in them and we haven't looked back!

Jamie is still a work in progress, but he'll get there (I hope).  This is the first time Stevie has "gotten" something before Jay, and honestly I would have told you a month ago that Jay would be trained first.  I'm so happy to be proven wrong on this one. :)  So proud of my Stevie  :)

While the twins had fun and got spoiled in CT, I got to spend some quality time with Adrian and Brennan.  It was really nice.  It was just Brennan and I during the day and we were able to do fun things like go to lunch with friends, take naps and go shopping. lol!  Brennan has never had the one-on-one time with me that we were able to have and I appreciate the opportunity to be able to have that with him.

The twins were both accepted into the Preschool lottery for next year!!  We were told repeatedly that it was unlikely for both of them to be accepted, but they were.  They will be going to the same school at the same time which makes it that much better for me.  So from 9:20a-11:50a it will just be Brennan and baby boy at home with me.  Hopefully I can figure in some kind of power schedule for my cleaning, food prep and shopping during that time along with playing and cuddling the younger cuties. :)

As far as me and baby boy...

He is finally moving where I feel him all the time.  Stupid anterior placenta! lol!  He enjoys punching/kicking my bladder and cervix and I do NOT enjoy it. lol!  He has been measuring right on schedule so far and we are hoping for it to stay that way.  We were diagnosed with Gestational Diabetes and have been monitoring sugars for the past week and a half.  It's not looking good for control with diet alone, which means the insulin resistance is pretty high.  My doc is great though and is going to try to push off the insulin injections until as late as possible by trying oral meds first.  It is very frustrating to be following the diet to a T and still have high results. sigh.  I'm just hoping we can get it under control ASAP so that littlest man stays average sized and can be as healthy as possible in there.

Other than that... I guess we are just moving along as best we can.  Only 99 days left until my due date, but I don't think we will get that far. We'll see :)

We have a growth scan on May 8 to check on little man so hopefully all will be perfect. :)
