HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
We had a wonderful time over the holidays. The flu, closing on a house and moving into said house. All between 12/19 and 12/24. Then a nice Christmas with my mom, dad and sister. Then cleaning the apartment so we could turn over keys and more moving/shuffling stuff. CRAZY!
We had a crazy time getting to the closing, but we are now homeowners again and it feels great. We love our house and are thrilled to be making it our home. :)
The boys are doing great. Declan is now almost a year and a half and is such a sweet boy. He isn't saying much, but boy can he climb. He always has a smile for us and we just adore him.
Brennan is doing well at school and continues to make huge steps forward with his speech. He is still pretty behind, but definitely making steps in the right direction. He took a pretty good whack in the noggin by Jamie with a mop and ended up getting 6 stitches. He was so brave I actually couldn't believe it. :)
Jameson is, as ever our little ball of energy. He is sweet and loving, but feisty and fiery all in one. He loves school and is disappointed every weekend when there is no school. He continues to make us proud of him by being so sweet to the kids in his class. (Luckily there are no mops readily available to him at school ;) )
Steven is our quiet, sensitive one. He gets his feelings hurt pretty easily, and doesn't understand why people are so mean. He is a great student and is proud of all of his work. He loves to bring all of it home to show off (we quickly run out of fridge space for it all.) He is quiet, but he remembers everything. No sneaking past that stinker. ;)
Adrian turned 8 in November and is looking forward to being baptized on March 1. He has been reading his scriptures both on his own and to his brothers. He loves church and just moved up to senior primary and is so excited about that. He started cub scouts at church a few months ago and has loved every part of it. He has his first Klondike on Saturday.
Andy just moved jobs and is so excited about it. He is still at Ginna, but doing something new. It is something he has wanted to do for a while, but circumstances kept steering him in a different direction. This time he threw his hat in the ring and it worked out. So proud of him.
Me... I'm a crazy lunatic still. Enjoying my mornings with the Decklers and getting the one on one time with him. I can't believe next year all 4 of the older boys will be in school full day. That seems so insane to me. I just got called as the Activity day assistant at church and I am THRILLED to work with girls again. Just so excited. :)
Ok well... that is all for now I think. I will add pics of the house later.
